If not, this tutorial will certainly have you adding one to your shopping cart! We are going to create a dutch door card using a pre-scored card base and the Love Blossoms Stamp set. Scroll down for the YouTube Video tutorial from my Facebook Live Coffee and Cards!
- Using a Close to My Heart card base, cut the card off the score line.
- Turning one piece horizontal, trim at 4.50 inches and score at 4.25 inches. Turn this piece vertical, and trim at 3.75 inches.
- Stamp image in Charcoal ink close to the top of your 4.50x3.75 inch piece.
- Use a paper trimmer to eyeball a straight cut from the edge to the closest stamped image on each side. Then fussy cut around the rest if the foliage and flowers.
- Colored in using block inking in new England ivy for the foliage and pixie for the flowers.
- Stamp sentiment in versa mark ink and heat embossed in ranger black embossing powder.
- Attach door to base using strong double sided tape.
- To finish the card off, Use the sugar plum shimmer brush o highlight the flowers, and the black shimmer brush with the end of paint brush to splatter black shimmer on to the card.
