Die Cutting Pictures : Mini Layout

Remember the days when we fussy cut our photos with decorative edge scissors? Then we moved from that to leaving the pictures as is for the most part! I sort of miss the fun in cutting the pictures, maybe not so much with the decorative scissors part, but none the less.

Today Michelle and I have a super cute mini layout inspired by this Pinterest Find. So make sure you click back to Michelle's take on this layout style.
I had so much fun using all of my circle die cuts to create the focal points on this layout. Of course I had to make a shaker element out of the main picture.

This was my son when he was 2 on our family vacation to Tennessee back in 2014! He has ALWAYS loved being outside. This day at the park with his Mow-Mow (don't ask me how he came up with that) aka grandma, was super special because he got to ride the teeter-totter with her. They ended their day with a campfire and smores. His memory of this had faded as he is almost 8 now, but we will always have these sweet pictures to remember this day with her.

Here is a close up of the shaker element! I just love how it popped. I added black shimmer, which is hard to photograph!
