somewhere over the rainbow 🌈 | H2H CHALLENGE

Hello crafty friends!
It's time for another H2H challenge from Team A!
As you can speculate,  it has something to do with the colors of the rainbow! 🌈

I decided to do a penny spinner card, using the design for card #5. This is from the national scrapbooking (NSD) Cardmaking workshop 1.

For some inspiration you can watch the tutorial here:

Then come back and link up your project to the H2H page for your chance to win!!!

Ever thought of being a part of a design team? 🤔

Guess what there is a call out, and we want to see what you got!!!

Two Face/Negative Split| Embossing Technique

Happy Saturday Crafty Peeps!

I wanted to show off some really cute cards using a technique split negative. Before I realized what the name of this was actually called I dubbed it two faced cards or Ying Yang. I think all three work!

I showed my DanYellScraps VIP private facebook group this first! We did all black and white cards. Then I showed this to the Let's Flock Together facebook group! This time I stepped it up a notch and showed them how to do other colors, and to use versamark ink with their NON-pigment ink pads to create an embossed image <---- ---="" cool="" right="" super="">  Watch the tutorial here below, then keep scrolling for close up pictures and supplies used!

Supplies used:
Stamps: fly by greetings, Mighty Oak, and the May SOTM.
Paper: Eggplant, Bluebird, &white daisy cardstock.
Ink: Blue Bird, Eggplant, & Versamark ink.
Embossing Powder: ranger brand - White and Clear extra fine.
Paper trimmer
Card bases & Envelopes

Additional supplies used:
Craft foam
Stamp platform

While you are shopping for your supplies do not forget one of your stamps is the May Stamp of the Month. This where all of my sentiments for the cards came from!
May 2020: Time to Celebrate, Spend $50 and get this Stamp of the Month set for just $5.

Here are two more inspirational ideas for using this stamp set! I love those butterflies.

Are you a scrapbooker, or know someone who is? Check out my Aurora Scrapbook kit! It creates 8 awesome pages, with flip flaps and pml cards, and cricut cuts! Here is the thing, they are designed in a way that you can leave the crictu cuts out and they are still pretty stunning on their own!

#100dayproject Update|have you been crafty?

Hello Crafty Friends!

So it's 40 days into the #100dayproject, and I wanted to share some of the things I have been showing off over in my Facebook group "Let's Flock Together" that I co-run with my CTMH sister Michelle.

Each day in the Facebook group "Let's Flock Together" Michelle and I take turns presenting different ideas and techniques that can be used on scrapbook pages and cards. Let me show you a few video projects I have done,.

Projects So Far:
Have you ever played with texture paste? How about texture paste on a scrapbook page!?  Watch as I show you a few ways to color texture paste, and incorporate it on scrapbook page.

Using paper scraps to create pages, is a creative process. that requires a little outside of the box thinking!

Masking - tied and true results every time. This tutorial focus' on repetitive stamping also!

There are 37 more projects over on the facebook group "Let's Flock Together" and 60 more to come! We would love to have your join us. We have Over 250 members, many who share art work of the ideas and projects Michelle and I present!

What if I do not have facebook?
I try to upload each of my videos to my YouTube channel. Make sure you Subscribe to my Channel so you don't miss the next video!

Before you go, did you see my new scrapbook workshop
It makes 8 pages using the STUNNING new Aurora paper collection, PML cards, and some custom cricut cuts.
